Thrive in Your Calling

Hear. Understand. And faithfully share God's Word with his people.

DAILY LIFE IN A FALLEN WORLD

Personal slights. Insults. Satan's accusations. The people who make up our churches are daily bombarded by false values and beliefs that cheapen God's creation.

It's no wonder they struggle with sins that mar God's image within them. They've embraced distorted images of themselves that contradict God's truth.

In any given week it can be challenging for them to know their worth, let alone passionately follow Jesus.

THE UPWARD PULL OF HEAVEN

But then they hear anointed preaching.

Your sermon is an opportunity to reveal the character of God. A God who infuses all life with meaning and majesty. Your sermon also tells us who we are in God's sight: created in His divine image, beloved beyond description, and destined for glory. Of course, the sermon can also uncover sin—while pointing the way to freedom.

The sermon done well is life-giving. An encounter with God that lifts your hearers to God's throne room.

DIVINE TRANSFORMATION

Our good God works through the sermon—your sermon—to illuminate His reality and bring heaven near. He affirms identity. He reveals His heart. And He draws His image-bearers into new life. Into blessing.

Such transformation is possible only because of faithful preachers like you—who bear the burden, wrestle with God in the text, and then deliver His words to a needy, waiting congregation, hungry for more of Him.
